Timber Pest Inspection (Add On)
Pre purchase timber pest inspections investigate the integrity of timber and the presence of timber pests in the roof cavity, subfloor, interior, perimeter fencing, trees and outbuildings. It also identifies any environmental conditions in and around your home that may make your home susceptible to attack from termites, wood borers and fungal decay.
Termites (white ants) are one of the most destructive pests for a home however termites are not the only pests that can attack the timber in your home. Wood borers and Wood decay / fungi can also cause significant damage.

Timber Pest Inspection (Add On)

This inspection covers Termites, Wood Borers and Fungal Decay. The following areas will be inspected.
- Concrete Slab Foundation & Timber Sub Floor (Slab edge & Timber floor structures)
- The interior of the building (Internal and external wall structures, Cabinetry, Skirtings and Architraves & any other timber work)
- The roof space (Roof and ceiling structures)
- The exterior of the building (Balconies, stairs, patios, Grading & Drainage and excessive moisture)
- The property within 30m of the building (Sheds/Garages, Exterior structures, Fencing, Surface Water, garden timbers and Vegetation).
Additions to Standard Inspections
If the house has additional accommodation (granny flat) there will be an additional fee depending on size
Country areas and out of metropolitan areas incur a travel fee based on the property location (Yanchep, Bullsbrook, Morangup, Wundowie, Mandurah etc)
Note: If the property has multiple out buildings or the house has more than 1 kitchen and 2 bathrooms there may be additional fees, please call us to discuss.
